Baghdad / NINA /- The Iraqi artist Makki Awad died today, Tuesday, at the age of 70 after a long struggle with illness.
In a statement today, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned the passing of the artist Awad in the capital, Baghdad.
The Syndicate stated in a statement: “With great sadness and sorrow, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the artist Makki Awad, who passed away today. They ask Almighty God to cover him with his vast mercy and to inspire his family, lovers, and colleagues with patience and solace.”
