Karbala/NINA/- Karbala Governor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi confirmed on Tuesday that security and health plans are proceeding "excellently and as planned," noting that there is direct follow-up from the Prime Minister and high-level coordination between the federal and local governments to ensure the success of the visit.
He explained in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a plan has been put in place to dispatch pilgrims after the end of the pilgrimage ceremony. 500 buses have been allocated to transport them home (from the eastern axis), 1,300 buses to the southern axis, and 580 buses to the northern axis, in addition to supporting ministries' trucks. He stressed that the roads remain open and that no security breaches have been recorded, thanks to the efforts of the security forces. /End
