Baghdad / NINA / - Al-Quds Governorate issued a comprehensive report today, Thursday, documenting Israeli occupation violations in the holy city over the past five years (2021-2025).
The report recorded the killing of 144 Palestinians in Al-Quds and its surrounding areas during the aforementioned period.
It also documented a significant escalation in the policy of withholding the bodies of those killed. The number of bodies held rose from 23 at the end of 2022 to 35 in 2023, then 45 in 2024, reaching 51 bodies by the end of 2025. These bodies remain held in Israeli morgues and "cemeteries of numbers" as a tool of collective punishment. /End
