Bafel Talabani decides to withdraw from the Kurdistan Regional Government
Baghdad / NINA / - The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Talabani, has decided to withdraw from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
In a speech this evening, Talabani stated: "We are withdrawing from the failed Kurdistan Regional Government, and we will not recognize what the regional parliament has enacted."
Addressing members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he added: "Stop terrorizing the people. You are the ones who forced us to take this stance. We could have also threatened the members of parliament, but we chose not to do so."/ End
