مكتب حقوق الإنسان في البصرة يناقش مع وفد اممي ملف الملوثات البيئية وتأثيرها على الأطفال

البصرة /نينا/ بحث مدير مكتب المفوضية العليا لحقوق الإنسان في البصرة مهدي التميمي مع وفد منظمة الامم المتحدة لرعاية الطفولة UNICEFاليونيسيف متابعة ملف الملوثات البيئية وتأثيرها على الأطفال.

وقال التميمي ، ناقشنا مع مدير مكتب اليونيسيف في جنوب العراق نجيب الله حما ، واقع التلوث وماينعكس تاثيره على الاطفال و ارتفاع الاصابات السرطانية للأطفال وخصوصا في شمال وغرب وجنوب غرب البصرة.

واضاف كما تم التطرق إلى دور الامم المتحدة في التعاون أزاء هذا الملف الذي بات يشكل خطراً على اطفالنا .

واشار التميمي إلى مناقشة العمل على دعم الأطفال ذوي العلاقة مع القانون وقرب اطلاق برنامج حماية الأطفال والنساء من التحرش الجنسي والابتزاز ،فضلا عن مناقشة التعاون المشترك بين الامم المتحدة و المفوضية العليا لحقوق الإنسان في العراق عبر مكتبها في البصرة ./انتهى
