Makiya stressed, according to a statement by the Commission, the Iraqi government's keenness to strengthen the frameworks for joint investment cooperation between the two countries in accordance with the requirements of the attractive environment and the specifications of investment projects and the development of the context of sectoral transactions in light of the specific legislation for them in Iraq.
Makiya added: "The commission is continuing to implement its plans to improve the reality of investment, address the challenges facing the sector, and bridge the relationship with various national and foreign institutions and companies through the application of standards that support real investment."
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador expressed his thanks to the head of the investment Commission for clarifying the strategies and plans aimed at strengthening the culture of the foreign investor in a way that befits the status of Iraq and what it represents of civilized, cultural and geographical data at the level of the region and the world./ End
