PUK, KDP stress their insistence on withdrawing confidence in participation with other sides

Baghdad (NINA) In their meeting on Saturday, June 23, under the patronage of the Region's President, Massoud Barazani, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) asserted their insistence on keeping their efforts to withdraw confidence form Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, with the participation of other political sides.

The PUK web site reported the two parties insistance on safeguarding the country from its current political crisis and rectify the political process by insisting on withdrawing confidence from Prime Minister through constitutional means and in cooperation with other political sides.

The statement quoted the two parties commitment toward their strategic alliance, which is in the benefit of Kurdistan and Iraq, as a whole. / End.
