Saleh al-Mutlaq to resume his work at the cabinet next week

Baghdad (NINA) Parliamentary source said that Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq is to resume, next week, his work at the cabinet.

In a statement to NINA on Tuesday, May 15, the source said that some political blocs was able to bring close together points of views between the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, without giving details.

It is worth mentioning that law maker from the State of Law Alliance, Shakir al-Dirraji, affirmed that, "The case of Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq, will be solved soon, prior to holding the National Meeting, through a side within the National Alliance who took on its own to work it out."

On Monday, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said that the issue of Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq, is open to discussion, while the case of Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi is a judicial one that cannot be listed among political discussion.

On December, Maliki said that he will ask Parliament to withdraw confidence from Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq for describing Maliki as a 'Dictator'. / End.
