Mosul / NINA / Nineveh Operations chief, Lieutenant General, Basim al-Tai survived a second assassination attempt today 10, July when a car bomb, driven by a suicide bomber, went off south of Mosul.
A security source told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The blast occurred while Tai came out from a military headquarters in the Hadher district south of Mosul."
The source added, "the blast did not result in any injuries."
It is mentioned that Tai survived today an assassination attempt by an improvised explosive device targeted his convoy on Mosul - Baghdad road south of Mosul, while inspecting military units in Qayyarah and Hadher areas, without causing injuries. / End
