Ramadi (NINA) - The Emir of Dulaim Tribes, Sheikh Ali Hatim al-Sulayman, said, "Protests in Anbar will not end until the protestors' deamds are completely fulfilled and the protestors will not leave regardless of the repression; the government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has to quickly meet the protestors' demands, before unwanted consequence occur."
Sulayman told NINA on Wednesday, Feb. 6, that, "Anbar protests in Ramadi and Falluja will continue, it is for the government to fulfill our demands without stalling."
He affirmed that the public in Anbar strongly reject terrorism, extremism and sectarian thoughts; it is the first province that fought ideologies of darkness, and is still fighting the enemies of Iraq; it will not allow dividing it or federalism; we call for Iraq's unity."
Sulayman added that protest in Anbar still going for the second month and Maliki's government is stalling in an attempt to win time to remain in power on the account of ordinary citizens' interests. / End.
