Second neighborhood mayor wounded in in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (NINA) – A northern Kirkuk neighborhood mayor killed on Monday, Jan. 28.

Security source told NINA that an improvised explosive device attached to a car belonged to the Mayor of Kasab Khaneh neighborhood, Ihsan Abdul Wahid, went off seriously wounding him.

The incident it the second of its kind in one day; the first, earlier in the day resulted in the killing of Ahmed Taqi Hussein, the Mayor of Asra & Mafquodeen neighborhood, when an improvised explosive device attached to his car went off in southeastern Kirkuk. / End.
