Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister and Commander in Chief, Nuri al-Maliki, called on the armed forces for self-restrain and on the wise people of Anbar to move to put off commotion.
In a statement addressed to the Iraqi people, in response to events in Falluja, saying that the clashes that occurred in Falluja with the Army in Falluja, was what we have warned from those who have foreign anti Iraq agendas and to draw the armed forces into a confrontation.
He that the conspiracy is been drawn by regional intelligence; calling on the demonstrators to stay away from those of regional agendas, sectarians and remnants of the former regime. Pointing out that some misled persons premeditated attacked a military post in Falluja with rocks, in the beginning, then with bullets.
Maliki called on demonstrators to exercise their rights in a peaceful way, avoid provoking and clashing with the armed forces and calling on wise people to take the initiative and put a stop to such actions. / End.
