Tikrit / NINA /-- A notable tribal Sheikh and a well known supporter for the demonstrations of Samarra city killed today and his brother seriously injured, in armed attack occurred in Albokhaddo area of Dor district east of Tikrit today.
A police source in Salahuddin province said to NINA : " Gunmen opened fire towards the car of Sheikh Sabbar Ahmed al-Abbasi in Albokhaddo area southern Dor district , east of Tikrit capital of the province , killing him and seriously wounding his brother, who was accompanying .
The source added that "Sheikh Sabbar al-Abbasi is of Albuabbas clan in Samarra, and a leading member of Sahwa forces in Samarra and a strong supporter to the demonstrations that ongoing in Salahuddin province and in other provinces of Anbar, Nineveh, Diyala and Kirkuk as well as of Baghdad ." / End
