BAGHDAD / NINA / The parliamentary Committee on security and defense announced that the agreement, which took place yesterday, between the central government and the Kurdistan region on the disputed areas stipulates to withdraw military units outside the administrative boundaries of these areas and replace them with a joint security centers.
Vice Chairman of the Committee, Iskandar Witwit told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The joint security stations between the Peshmerga and the Federal army will be with the Joint Coordination Center," adding that this is the best solution for the dilemma.
He accused regional states to push the Kurdistan region, so the state sought to make great efforts for mutual understanding and resolve the crisis once and for all, he says.
The negotiations were resumed yesterday between the military delegation of the central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government on the withdrawal of their forces from the common areas. / End
