RRF seize 87 IED in Haweeja

Baghdad (NINA) – Spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Sa'ad Ma'an, said that the Rapid Reaction Force, in cooperation with the National Intelligence Agency, seized a large stack of ammunition, consisting of 87 improvised explosive devices, in Haweeja area.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Dec. 19, the Ministry of Interior said that police captured in Mada'in area, 5 persons wanted in accordance with Article 4/Terrorism, seizing 5 cars and 150 CDs, containing immoral materials.

He added that police force seized 8 rockets, set for being launched, in Ameen area, southeastern Baghdad. / End.
