BREAKING NEWS Mayor of Mansouriya district wounded

Baquba (NINA) – The Mayor of Mansouriya district, Diyala province, wounded when a car bomb exploded on Wednesday evening, Dec. 5, against his motorcade.

Security source told NINA that a car bomb parked on the side of the main road leading to Mansouriya district, went off against the motorcade of Mayor Abdul Khaliq Medhat, wounding him and nine others, including five members of his guards.

He added that police imposed a security cordon around the site, while the victims rushed to nearby hospital. / End.
