Red Crescent employee wounded in Wasit province

Kut (NINA) – A Red Crescent employee in Wasit province wounded on Sunday, Oct. 28, when an improvised explosive device went off in northern Suwaira district, north of Kut.

The Red Crescent General Assembly's member, Hayder al-Jadiry, told NINA that an improvised explosive device was emplaced near the house of Red Crescent employee, Thiyab Mowafaq al-Jihaishi, in northern Suwaira district, went off when he was driving his car passing it; he is seriously wounded and been rushed to Suwaira General Hospital for treatment. / End.
