Sahwa elements quit their posts in Hawija.

Kirkuk / NINA / elements of awakening (Sahwa) in Hawija of Kirkuk decided to quit their jobs and withdraw from the guard posts in protest against the lack of responding to their demands.

A police source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Awakening leaders in the district are negotiating with them to convince them not to withdraw," adding that "may cause an imbalance and a security vacuum."

It is mentioned that the number of members of the Awakening forces in Kirkuk is around / 8000 / elements, the Ministry of Defense adopts to pay their salaries and supervising them militarily. / End
