Officer, soldier killed west of Mosul

Mosul (NINA) – An officer and soldier killed on Wednesday evening, Sep. 19, when a car bomb exploded west of Mosul.

Security source told NINA that a car bomb parked in a village near Talafar district, west of Mosul, went off when a military explosive ordnance disposal team attempted to deactivate it, killing an officer at the rank of lieutenant and a soldier.

The source added that a woman's body found inside the car bomb. / End.
