Mosul / NINA / an Iraqi army regiment leader survived an assassination attempt in a car bomb today 9, Sep. northwest of Mosul.

A security source told the reporter of / NINA / that "a car bomb exploded this morning in / Bartila / area northwest of Mosul, targeting the convoy of the Eighth Regiment leader of the brigade / 12 /".

The source added: "The explosion did not leave any human casualties". / End
