Officer assassinated in Mosul

Mosul (NINA) – An officer at the rank of Captain assassinated on Monday, Sep. 3, in western Mosul.

Security source told NINA that gunmen opened fire at an officer at the rank of Captain, working in the protection unit of North Oil Co., while on leave in a village west of Mosul, killing him instantly. He did not state the officer's name. / End.
