Basra / NINA /--A member of Basra provincial council became under fierce hitting by army detachment in Basra city center.

Vice Chairman of the Education Committee in the provincial council Ghanem Ameer said in a statement to NINA today that "an army detachment in Basra beat the council member after shooting obscene words especially after knowing that he is a member of the provincial council."/ End
