Baghdad / NINA /-- Spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department Victoria Nuland said in a press statements: “ The US Oil companies that has signed contract with Kurdistan Regional Government without referring to Baghdad federal government are definitely took their own decision, but as long as there is no Iraqi federal legislation in this field and this is what we call to activate , they , the companies run the risk .
Nuland added : “ We have been informed that certain U.S. companies signed Oil contracts for the production or extraction of oil with Kurdistan regional government without the approval of the Iraqi federal authorities in Baghdad .thing which bring such contracts to face legal difficulties. So it is desirable that US companies get the approval of Baghdad fore before till activating the Federal legislation ". / End
