Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, expressed concern over increased mode of explosions intended against civilians throughout Iraq, without noticing any security improvement.
In a statement to the press of Friday, Aug. 17, Nijaifi said that the explosions that occurred yesterday clearly show how much the killers are determined to pursue their savage behavior.
Nijaif accused security agencies the responsibility for such repeated breaches, saying that they have reached a level that cannot be neglected; each time they result in more blood shed of innocent people, without seeing a glimpse of hope in security improvement or measures that mach the size of threats created by repeated attacks or scarifies made by citizens.
It is noteworthy that Baghdad, Niniveh, Salaheddin and Anbar witnessed on Thursday series of explosions, attacks with car bombs and improvised explosive devices resulted in the killing and wounding tens of civilians and police and military men. / End.
