Baghdad / NINA /--The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers approved the formation of a national committee to combat cancerous diseases.
A statement by the Secretariat said: “The committee will be chaired by a representative of the Ministry of Environment and the membership of the ministries of health and human rights in addition to representatives of civil the competent civil societies and organizations .
He noted that the task of the Commission is to detect the most important reasons that led to the spread of cancer and the relationship of using depleted uranium during the U.S. bombing residential neighborhoods in the southern and central provinces of Iraq . / End
