BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of Mowatin / citizen / bloc, Muhammad Mashkoor said that "Iraq's foreign relations determined by the Federal Government only in accordance with the Constitution and any other party can not establish a relationship with any country without the knowledge of the federal government."
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "the Iraqi constitution is clear on this fundamental issue, also the constitution give the question of arming the army, exclusively by the federal government , which hold the responsibility to protect the country completely."
He added that "Iraq does not allow his enemies to tamper with the unity of Iraq and also does not allow, at the same time, to penetrate Iraqi airspace by aircrafts unlicensed to carry arms."
Regarding Iraq's relations with Turkey he confirmed that " the relationship between Turkey and Iraq must be based on the good neighborhood, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs , but if there was a relationship between the provincial government and the Turkish government, without the knowledge of the federal government, this matter is unconstitutional."
He stressed that "it is necessary to end the differences by frank dialogue and sense of responsibility, and the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan region should be based on a solid foundation and unity of Iraq and its people."
It is mentioned that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has considered the Turkish role in the region an important role, but it must be away from interfering in the affairs of other countries./ End
