6 Wanted captured in Diyala

Baquba (NINA) – In a security operation carried out on Friday, Aug. 10, in Baquba and its vicinities, police captured six wanted persons.

Spokesman for Diyala police, Colonel Ghalib Atiyah, told NINA that search raids carried out by Diyala police in Baquba and its vicinities resulted in capturing 6 wanted persons, charged with terrorism.

He added that security forces in Diyala succeeded in carrying out preventive operations against armed groups, leading to a reduction in armed attacks against the province's security forces. / End.
