Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and leader of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jafar, discussed political developments and results of the reform initiative presented by the National Alliance.
In a statement to the press on Friday, Aug. 10, the National Alliance's Media Bureau said that on Friday, Jafari paid a visit to Maliki, discussing current political issues and the results of the reform initiative adopted by the National Alliance.
It added that the two stressed the necessity to keep in touch, follow direct dialogue with patriotic forces through making required reforms, and preserve Iraq's supreme interests and its national unity. / End.
