Jalili confirm during meeting with Fayad, the need to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Iraq in security field.

Baghdad / NINA /--Iranian Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security Council Saeed Jalili, emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Iraq in the security field.

Iranian Mehr news agency said : " Jalili met yesterday with Iraq's national security adviser Faleh al-Fayad, and discussed regional developments and new opportunities that resulted from .

The source added that "Jalili said in a joint press conference after the meeting stressed on the responsibility of states supporting terrorism in Syria with regard of the recent kidnap of Iranian pilgrims.

For his part, Faleh al-Fayad, expressed his support and appreciation for Iran's position towards the developments in Syria. / End
