Foreign Undersecretary, Australia's Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Labeed Abbawi, discussed with Australia's Ambassador to Iraq, Ms Lyndall Sachs, the relations between Iraq and Australia and means to develop them in various fields.

Ambassador Sachs presented in the meeting, the gratitude of her country's government for Iraq's support to Australia's nomination for a None Permanent Member of the Security Council.

She also pointed out her country's Foreign Minister welcome to the invitation extended to him by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari to visit Iraq.

The two also touched on domestic and regional issues, especially the situation in Syria. / End.
