Barham Saleh, Romanian Ambassador discuss developments in Iraq

Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Barham Saleh, discussed in Erbil on Monday, Aug. 6, with Romania's Ambassador to Iraq, Jacob Prada, latest developments in Iraq, the area and the Middle East.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) web site reported that Saleh received Prada, accompanied by Romania's Consul General in Kurdistan region, discussing the relations between Kurdistan region and Romania, and means to consolidate them, especially in the cultural, trade and economic fields.

The two sides affirmed the importance of opening a Romanian Consulate in Kurdistan region. / End.
