Baghdad / NINA /--President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, called on the PKK and the Turkish government to declare a cease-fire and proceed to a peaceful solution.
In a press release the presidency of Kurdistan province expressed dissatisfaction of the recent military development of the battles and clashes between the two sides, especially in the area of Hakkari.
The presidency of the province condemned the attacks by the PKK militants, and described it as sterile that will not yield of any result, but will contribute to deepen and aggravate the problems.. / End
