BASRA / NINA / force of unti- crime in the province of Basra freed a Canadian citizen kidnapped and arrested his captors in an organization process, carried out by a force of unti-crime police.
Major-General Faisal Al-Abadi, Basra's police chief told / NINA / that "the operation, carried out yesterday evening, where the man was kept at Muwafaqiya area at the center of the province , the police freed him and arrested two of the kidnappers," noting that "the accurate information received by its intelligence source led to the success of the operation."
Major General al-Abadi added that "the police carried out raids in different parts of the city led to the arrest of 12 wanted men on criminal cases and also arrested accused Lebanese nationality in Ashar area." / End
