BAGHDAD / NINA / the spokesman of the Ministry of Peshmerga in Kurdistan Regional Government, Jabbar Yawar, revealed an agreement to withdraw all the Iraqi army troops and Peshmerga forces from Zummar and Mosul.
He said in a news conference today, "it was agreed to withdraw all the troops from the Iraqi army and Peshmerga forces, which sent to Zummar and Mosul as reinforcements after the tense situation that prevailed in the area recently."
Yawar added "it was also agreed that the Iraqi army and Peshmerga forces take responsibility to protect the border between Iraq and Syria where they are exist, and remove the state of tension on the major roads in the region."
It is mentioned that a state of tension has existed between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government when Peshmerga forces prevented forces from the Iraqi army to deploy on the border with Syria. / End
