BREAKING NEWS Rutba Police Commander killed, 4 of his guards wounded

Ramadi (NINA) – The Police Commander of Rutba district, far western Anbar province, Colonel Obaid Ibrahim al-Assafi, killed on Thursday evening, Aug. 2, and four of his guards wounded in an attack western Anbar.

Police source told NINA that gunmen attacked the police commander's motorcade while inspecting an earlier attack on a checkpoint in the outskirts of Rutba.

He added that Colonel Assafi seriously wounded, he died while transporting him to hospital, and four of his guards wounded in the attack. / End.
