Barazani, Turkey's Foreign Minister discuss political situation in Iraq, area

Erbil (NINA) – President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, discussed on Wednesday evening, Aug. 1, with Turkey's Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, political situation in the area.

A statement issued by Kurdistan President's Office said that in the meeting discussion covered political situation in Iraq and the area.

Vice President of Kurdistan region, Kosert Rassoul, Speaker of Kurdistan region's Parliament, Arsalan Bayiz, Prime Minister of Kurdistan region, Nechirvan Barzani, and Deputy Secretary General of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Barham Saleh, attended the meeting.

A press conference is expected to be held concerning issues discussed in the meeting. / End.
