Police in Fallujah: explosion in Saqlawiyah was an IED not a car bomb.

Anbar / NINA / Two policemen were wounded when a roadside bomb went off in Saqlawiyah north of Fallujah today.

The director of Fallujah police Colonel Mohammed Elaiwi told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / today, " an explosive device , which was planted near a shop selling construction materials in Saqlawiyah, exploded caused the injury of two policemen who were taken to the hospital for treatment."

He stressed that "the explosion was by an improvised explosive device not a car bomb as mentioned earlier." / End
