Baghdad / NINA /-- Iraq-Ulema called on Iraq government to open border and receive affected families who are forced after the worsening of security situation to seek asylum to Iraq.
In a press statement Iraq-Ulema said today : "At a time the Syrian people pay a heavy price due to foreign intervention in its internal affairs, thousands of families being forced to leave their homes in the areas of conflict near the Iraqi-Syrian border and are now in the open without shelter.
The statement added : " Iraq-Ulema expressed its surprised of the government decision to close the Iraqi border in the face of our brothers in Ramadhan , month of goodness and mercy, especially when one take into account that these people are not party of the ongoing conflict. / End
