Diyala / NINA / unidentified gunmen killed a policeman north-west of Baquba today.
A security source told / NINA / that "unidentified gunmen riding in a modern car opened fire with light automatic weapons on a security element, while returning to his house in Al-Haded district north-west of Baquba, killing him at once."
He added "The security force rushed to the scene and sealed off all roads and started a process of raids and searches for the attackers."
In a related development a security checkpoint in south of Baquba was attacked by unknown gunmen without casualties among the point's elements. / End
