Explosives cache uncovered north of Tikrit

Tikrit (NINA) – A unit of the Rapid Reaction Force (SWAT) uncovered on Friday evening, July 6, an explosive cache in north of Tikrit, Salaheddin province.

Security source told NINA that the cache found, on a citizen's report, in a deserted house in a village near Shirqat district, northern Salaheddin province.

He added that the cache contained 20 improvised explosive device; they are deactivated. / End.
