Baghdad (NINA) – President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, discussed with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Iraq Robert Stephen Beecroft, and the US Consul in Kurdistan region, Alexander La Sarkis, the future relations between Kurdistan region and the United States and means to consolidate them.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) web site reported that Barazani met with Beecroft and La Sarkis, on the end of his tuner in Kurdistan region, discussing Iraq's current political crisis. The two sides stressed the necessity to follow legal and constitutional means as well as implement agreements reached in dealing with the crisis. / End.
