Maliki meets a delegation from the Iraqi Communist Party.

Baghdad / NINA /-- Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki met with the secretary of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party, Hamid Majid Moussa, and a number of leaders of the party and discussed with them the political situation and the latest developments in the region.

A statement by his office : "Maliki stressed during the meeting on the importance of national unity and resort to a dialogue based on the constitution.

For their part, members of the delegation expressed their support to the proposal by the Prime Minister in his call for dialogue or going to early elections. / End
