Sulaymaniyah / Nina / Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government Nijervan Barzani said the Kurds were not "once upon a time" a cause of the crisis but the marginalization and neglecting the Constitution and the conventions are the reason.
He added in a speech at the graduation ceremony of Session / 27 / for the students of the University of Sulaymaniyah yesterday evening that the Kurds are not interested at all in looking down the rights of others and at the same time are not ready to give up their land and their rights, and we expect that our rights will be implemented and achieved at the earliest.
He noted that the problems of the budget of Peshmerga and the oil and gas law and the distribution of its revenues are still existed.
Barzani said:" There is a political and international crisis plaguing Iraq and the Kurds and their leadership are not a reason in provoking the crisis, but the problem is caused by not implementing the Iraqi constitution, conventions, and we as Kurds are part of the victims of non-implementation of the Constitution, and that made the Kurds and their leadership to take the initiative to correct the situation because all the political process and the federal system in Iraq based on democracy."/End
