Colonel escapes an assassination in Mosul today.

Mosul / Nina / the director of Nineveh police battalions survived an assassination attempt when a roadside bomb went off south of Mosul today.

A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / Colonel Abid Twayba, Nineveh battalions' police chief survived an assassination attempt when his motorcade was targeted by a roadside on the road Mosul to Qayyarah today.

He added that the explosion resulted in damage to a wheel of the military, Colonel unhurt. / End
