BREAKING NEWS 13 Persons killed, wounded in a suicide attack amid Samara

Tikrit (NINA) – A car bomb driven by a suicide attacker exploded on Friday, June 22, in downtown Samara killing and wounding 13 persons, including Iranian visitors.

Security source told NINA that a suicide attacker driving a pickup full of watermelon detonated the car near a joint military and police checkpoint near the Askareyeyn Shrine, in Samara, killing one female Iranian visitor, and wounding another 7 Iranian visitors, in addition to 4 military and police elements.

Medical source said that the casualties received at Samara General Hospital are 2 killed (man and a woman), 12 wounded, all Iranian visitors. / End.
