3 Guardsmen killed, wounded in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (NINA) – A security guardsman killed and two others wounded when an improvised explosive device went off on Sunday, June 17, in Kirkuk.

Security source told NINA that the improvised explosive device was emplaced underneath a caravan belonging to a security firm in Wahid Huzeeran area, southern Kirkuk

On the other hand the source said that an improvised explosive device went off on the main road between Kirkuk and Abasiya district, south west Kirkuk, went off against a military patrol, causing damages to one of the patrol's vehicles without resulting in casualties. / End.
