Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament Secretary, Mohammed al-Khalidi, said that the coming period is going to witness questioning Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Parliament.
In a statement to NINA on Sunday, June 10, Khalidi, who is a lawmaker from Iraqiya slate, said that the convened in Erbil decided to use another rout, which is to question Maliki as a start to withdraw confidence.
Khalidi added that the questioning will be submitted to Parliament's Chairmanship, consisting of the questioning mechanism and the issues to be presented, as well as the date of it.
Representatives of political blocs demanding withdrawal of confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki who met earlier in the day in Erbil are Massoud Barazani and Barham Saleh, from the Kurdish Alliance, Iyad Allawi, Usama al-Nijaifi, Saleh al-Mutlaq and Salman al-Jumaily, from Iraqiya Alliance, Dhiya al-Asadi, Salah al-Ubaidi and Ameer al-Kinani from the Sadrist Trend, in addition to other leaders. / End.
