Baghdad (NINA) – Members of Erbil-Najaf consultative meeting, who met on Sunday, June 10, in Erbil, said that they have addressed a message to President Jalal Talabani, affirming the authenticity of lawmakers' signatures and their numbers' adequacy.
They expressed sorrow for the steps and measures, the Prime Minister and his team they resorted to in their pursuance to thwart constitutional efforts aiming to reform the political situation and put an end to monocracy and predomination.
They affirmed their continuing efforts to achieve the aim of withdrawing confidence in accordance with the Constitutional mechanism.
The meeting decided to address a message to President Jalal Talabani affirming the authenticity of the lawmakers' signatures and their numbers' adequacy.
Massoud Barazani and Barham Saleh, from the Kurdish Alliance, Iyad Allawi, Usama al-Nijaifi, Saleh al-Mutlaq and Salman al-Jumaily, from Iraqiya Alliance, Dhiya al-Asadi, Salah al-Ubaidi and Ameer al-Kinani from the Sadrist Trend, in addition to other leaders attended the meeting. / End.
