BAGHDAD / Nina /- MP form the / Iraqia / block Hamza Alkrtani described the position of President Jalal Talabani by not fulfill the constitutional authority concerning the process of withdrawal of confidence from the government that he was under Iranian pressure.
He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that "Talabani's position has weakened the last five-party alliance, which stressed the need for the withdrawal of confidence because Prime Minister and his coalition did not fulfill the obligations of Arbil's agreement.
Alkrtani added that "Iraqiya will meet in Mosul today to assess the political situation and look at the new developments in order to take a common position to enhance its ability to fulfill its obligations."
It's worth mentioning that the MP from Kurdistan Alliance Mahmoud Othman said: "Talabani is not eager for the withdrawal of confidence from Maliki, trying to resolve the political crisis in the country through constructive dialogue."
He added in a press statement: "The president wants to end the political differences through dialogue away from the withdrawal of confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki."
Osman said: "The external contacts with Turkey and Iran are underway as well as extensive internal communications with the political forces to prevent the withdrawal of confidence from the Prime Minister and push for the dialogue to resolve the crisis."
He noted that if all attempts fail to end the political crisis, the President will finally agree on the decision to withdraw the confidence and re-forming the government again. "/ End
