Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Mohammad Jawad Alldorki, discussed with Igor Zinovivitch, Head of 4th Regional Department at the Ukrain Foreign Ministry, the Iraq-Ukrain relations and means to activate them.
A statement issued on Tuesday, May 29, by the Ministry of Foreign Relations said, "The two discussed means to develop bilateral relations in the economic and trade relations and to activate the works of the Iraqi-Ukrainian Joint Committee, in addition to urging Ukrainian firms to invest in Iraq, in the fields of oil, gas, agriculture and the infrastructure.
It added that the two discussed the necessity to speed up reviewing agreements concluded between the two countries, as well as new agreement that serve their mutual interests.
The two reviewed political situation in both countries and means to develop political and diplomatic relations between them, in addition to cooperation on the international level. / End.
